In case of data attempted falsification (figures, date,
recipient) :
- By
mechanical erasure :
since the ink impregnates the paper throughout its
thickness, it can neither be erased, nor scraped without
causing a hole in the paper
- By
thermal shock : ink
cannot be removed since it has penetrated the fibers of
the paper
- By
chemical erasure :
according to cases, the
inscriptions fade but do not disappear; the reactive
paper does change color revealing the attempted
fraud

Extensive tests run by the National
Laboratory of Tests, in Paris (File
5031134-Document DMI/1 - April 11, 1995), proved
point by point the effectiveness of the Safe
printing system against attempted data
falsification, even under extreme conditions of
experimentation. Any attempt of erasure is made
eye-visible.
